My Story

 

 

Workshop times:

9:30am to 5pm on Saturday

9:30am to 4pm on Sunday

 

Here are some important details about our workshop:

 

Time: Please arrive between 9 and 9:15 as it will take a little time  to set up your space and settle in. We plan to open circle at 9:30. We are committed to finishing on time as well. 

 

Our location is: The Retreat at Loon Pond, 51 Loon Pond Lane, Litchfield, Maine

 

Please log us into your contacts in case you need to contact us on workshop days as we won’t be checking emails at that time.

What to bring:

  • We will create an altar for the two days. You are welcome to bring an item or two to place on the altar…a crystal, an item from nature, a photo, a special object, etc. You will bring your items home at the end of the workshop.

  • Lunch - there is a full kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and stove.

  • Beverages - (Loon Lodge provides Keurig coffee and teas)

  • Snacks to get you through the day. 

  • Snacks to share (optional)

  • Water bottle 

  • Pen/paper/notebook

  • Eye shade, bandana, or scarf to cover your eyes when you journey

  • Indoor shoes or slippers

  • Rattle and/or Shamanic Drum (optional) - if you have either or both please bring them, we have some to share

  • Blanket(s) pillows for your journeying and sitting comfort

  • Appropriate outdoor layers and footwear for the season. Please know that outside time will be optional.

 

IMPORTANT:

No Fragrances Please - some people in our circle are highly sensitive to scented products. Please refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, after shave, scented hair products, patchouli and other strong essential oils.

 

Seating - There are several options for seating including zero gravity chairs, padded folding chairs and yoga mats. You are welcome to bring a chair of your own and whatever you need for your comfort through the weekend.

If you are staying in the lodge overnight:

 

Meals: Lodgers are responsible for bringing and preparing your own food/meals.

There is a full service kitchen with a huge fridge, fully stocked cabinets with plates, cups, kitchenware, pots, pans, electric tea kettle,

 

Rooms: Loon Lodge provides all bedding, blankets, pillows.

There are 2 twin beds in each room.

There is one full bathroom to share and a half bathroom downstairs.You can help yourselves to shower, bath towels, shampoo, soap, etc.
