For thousands of years, in cultures around the world, humanity has thrived and flourished by living in collaboration with the realms of spirit; this is the heart of shamanism. In community, and in the presence of spirit, we can heal ourselves, practice gratitude, and live in reciprocity. All people have the innate ability to communicate with the spirits of all living beings and travel through the veils into sacred realms. We invite you to join us on the nurturing and nourishing path of shamanism as you: Explore the principles and ethics of core shamanism and the tools to support you in your shamanic practice. Learn how to do a shamanic journey to connect with helping spirits and the sacred realms. Meet a helping spirit or a power animal/helping spirit; they are unique to you and provide guidance, protection, and healing. Practice connecting with nature in profound ways, both in the shamanic journey and in the present moment. Learn about ways to create a safe and sacred space. Participate in sacred ceremonies for healing and expansion of self and Mother Earth. This sacred circle is open to both novices as well as those who want to grow in their comfort and confidence in their journeying practice. NOTE: Please bring a journal or notebook, a sacred or special object to place on the altar during the workshop, and an eye shade or bandana. Attendance is required in all sessions, so please look at our program schedule as it includes a few evening programs. Our schedule also allows you to schedule Healing Arts and attend Kripalu’s yoga classes. This program is open to all who are over the age of 18.
